Using EXTRACT with USERPROGRAM(DFH0CBDC)

Tried using DFHCSDUP in batch using the extract command. I compiled program DFHOCBDC as it comes from IBM (no changes). When I run the batch program I get a RC=16 SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C4 REASON CODE=00000010.

Am I missing something?

I did (with 4.1) recall that a field definition was missing/incorrect in one of the supplied programs....A little debugging and I fixed it...

FWIW, shouldn't your reference to DFHOCBDC actually be DFH0CBDC (DFH zero CBDC)?

zero is correct, sorry. I typed it here and got carried away. I'll check on that missing field. Thanks.

The S0C4 is caused by a STOP RUN in the DFH0DBDC coding,
change it to GOBACK (or replace the complete IF ..... with GOBACK) compile and link again and the problems are gone.

OK. Compiled under IBM COBOL for MVS & VM 1.2.2 and Linked under DFSMS/MVS V1 R4.0 BINDER. Both with a RC=0.

When I run it now in batch, I get: IEA995I SYMPTOM DUMP OUTPUT SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C1 REASON CODE=00000001.

Still

Well, it looks like it is time to make sure the compile listing (with the procedure map) is current and matching the executing program and just debug the dump....

It is probably something simple, but you just have to find it....;-)
